| Job Description |
The senior process engineer will be a senior member of the Process Simulation & Automation Group (PSA). Focus of work will be to direct and apply advanced knowledge of solid mechanics and thermal sciences to glass formation applications. This individual will have strong communication skills and must be proficient in the application of first principle concepts to formulate process understanding improvement and identify potential process automation. This individual will be a technical leader identifying opportunities leading to potential products and improvements through the application of PSA Group results. This position is a senior level engineering postion reporting to an Engineering Manager. |
| Requirements Qualifications |
The ideal candidate will possess a MS in Engineering or Physics, preferred; PhD in Engineering or Physics. They will have a minimum of 10 years experience in an RD&E environment identifying, developing and leading process ananlysis in similar industries, such as polymer processing, metals forming or preferably glass container formation. Experience in process improvement through the application of the analytical or numerical analysis is desirable. |
