Job Description  The duties for the position are as follows:

Through cold calling, networking and research, canvasses prospective new accounts.

Calls on existing or prospective customers to introduce, qualify and sell the product lines.

Prepares a plan for each account to identify what and how short and long term needs may be met.

Supports launches of new products in geographic area.

Responsible for generating new leads and opportunities.

Services existing distribution base and responsible for identifying and partnering with additional channels where necessary.

Promotes products at trade shows and conferences.

Meets or exceed all territory growth objectives.
Requirements Qualifications

 
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The ideal candidate will also possess:

BS degree in a science related field

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.  Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
