| Job Description |
As plant manager you will be reporting directly to the President/CEO of the company. Your responsibilities will include:
Direct the principle aspects of manufacturing.
Supervise directly and/or indirectly through reporting supervision all production and maintenance personnel activity of workforce.
Plan, direct, implement and passionately drive continuous improvement, Lean, Six Sigma & operational excellence initiatives.
Champion Lean and implement plans to drive continuous improvement in the operational infrastructure of systems, processes and personnel.
Set & successfully execute operations strategy for the plant.
Identify, develop and implement best practices at the shop-floor level and within supporting functional areas achieving measures at a "Best-in-class" performance level.
Foster a success-oriented, team-oriented accountable environment within all areas of the Company, raising the bar and providing leadership.
Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement in a unionized workforce.
Develop specific objectives and measurements for functional areas of responsibility to optimize product costs, quality, capacity/customer service, safety and working capital levels. |
| Requirements Qualifications |
Candidates Must:
Have provided results-oriented leadership as the supply-side leader of a complex, growth oriented manufacturing company or division.
Possess passionate, hands-on operational and entrepreneurial capabilities with strong focus on Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and TQM experience.
Have an undergraduate degree and additional specialized training in Lean Six Sigma methods.
