The engineering team includes a total of twenty-three (23) engineers of a variety of experience levels and backgrounds engaged in designing the products, designing the tooling, developing the processes and supporting manufacturing. * The key responsibility of the position will be to perform Finite Element Analaysis (FEA) using COSMOS on composite aerospace and medical parts and assemblies. * Additional responsibilities will include: o Assuming a project engineering role, ie, managing projects, working with vendors and the internal team, approving tool design, and conceptualizing process development. o Interfacing with customers on design related and project status related issues. o Support and/or lead allowable generation efforts for composite materials. o Support proposal efforts as required. | Education
Requirements | The successful candidate will be ready to embark on a challenging new assignment. The position is vacant due to growth within the organization. Success in the role could lead to engineering management opportunities. Candidates should have the following qualifications: * Having attained a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structures is a must. * Five years experience in performing non-linear FEA essential. * Vibration analysis, composites experience, aerospace background, tooling design, allowable generation and project management experience all considered a plus. | Company
